Post Date: December 21, 2011Event Date: 01/10/2012
Event Location: Dulces Latin Bistro
Event Time: 7:45 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
In 2011 we focussed on growing your team. In 2012, our Workshop focus will be on sustaining your growth. In January we will concentrate on improving your management skills. In April we will drill down on that topic and go deeper and improve the effectiveness of existing organizational tools and initiatives, in order to reveal additional profitable opportunities and prepare for mergers and effectively acquire companies. In our July our workshop will learn additional financial skills and will focus on acquisition planning. In October of 2012 we will focus on an aspect of sustaining your growth through more efficient operations.
Using experiential learning, we will practice skills in January designed to strengthen your ability to lead your company and develop a new set of skills. Most of you are terrific at doing. You learn quickly and accomplish a great deal. In January’s workshop we will first focus on where you provide value to your company and then begin learning the skills necessary to grow and lead your company as it becomes increasingly complex.

TITLE OF WORKSHOP
Making the Executive Transition
QUESTIONS THE CEO SHOULD BE ASKING
1. Am I the leader my organization needs me to be in order to reach our full potential?
2. Why does the organization need me to be a strategic leader? What might be possible if I took a more strategic role?
3. What conditions, structures, and behaviors will lead to executive success?
TAKEAWAYS: Upon conclusion of the workshop, you will take away:
1. A conceptual framework for understanding the nature of executive leadership
2. A self-analysis tool to determine what structural or behavioral issues need to be addressed
3. A new vision for the leader as a strategic force in their organization.
