Congratulations to Roni, who was inspired to join the HopeSparks board by Joseph LeRoy and his motivational leadership as well as by the organization’s mission – which resonates with her personal desire for creating and supporting permanent, positive change in peoples’ lives.
As some of you may know, before coming to Excell, Roni’s business career focused on building and managing profitable sales and service operations for Microsoft, Cisco, 3Com, Tandem Computers (now H-P) and Jonckers T&E, in US and international sites.
She holds a BA from SUNY at Buffalo and MS from Iona College, both in Spanish. Roni also speaks French and Portuguese and has traveled to 44 countries. Roni has an Executive MBA from Wharton and is a certified PMP by the Project Management Institute (PMI) and CPIM by the American Production and Inventory Control Association.
With a love of cooking, Roni earned a Culinary Diploma from Le Cordon Bleu and recently published a book about her passion for eating healthfully as a family, The 10-Minute Menu.
She served on the board of her homeowners’ association for many years and was the Board Secretary for Bet Alef Meditational Synagogue. She currently volunteers with the Puget Sound PMI Chapter, training non-profit organizations on project management principles and with CAMPS (Center of Advanced Manufacturing Puget Sound).
Along with her previous board development experience and business acumen, Roni brings her curiosity, listening, and collaboration skills to the HopeSparks Board. She values building relationships, and personal authenticity, accountability, and integrity.
Congrats again to Roni!
