Our Southend Group March CEO Retreat will be held:
Wednesday, March 14 at the Landmark Convention Center.
Many of you have expressed a need to have more “collaborative” type discussions both within and outside of your company so I’ve asked the expert in collaboration to join us. Robert Nitschke, author of Creating a Collaborative Enterprise: Retool Your Organization to Dominate Your Markets, will lead a discussion on using a collaborative approach to increase the effectiveness of your operations and expand your markets. The goal? By the end of Bob’s session, each member will have a written plan with specific action steps. (Bob’s mantra: “Don’t confuse efforts with results,” so expect a practical and hands-on approach.)
You are welcome to bring guests from your company for the morning session (please let Michele or I know by Monday so we can have a correct count.)
Some of you met Bob last month when he attended as a guest. He’s great resource and I believe you’ll really enjoy and benefit from his insights. For more information on Bob and his company, please visit his Website:www.creativingacollaborativeenterprise.com.
Since we’d also like to use this forum as an opportunity to focus on the planning process, I’ve asked fellow member Denise Martel to share her updated strategic plan and talk about the strategic development process. We will finish up with issue processing and 30 day commitments. I’m sure Jeff will share his latest adventures (and tan) from Belize as well and make us all jealous.
We will also have some potential members attending as guests at the meeting. See you on Wednesday!
Please RSVP to Michele Bosworth: [email protected]
